Stephen Marche’s Book -An Endless Era of Terror, Rather Than a Civil War

If the emergency we now face evolves into a confrontation between America’s right wing and America’s current federal government, when it explodes, it will look like a new civil war for just a short time, but then it will quickly become a long, ugly era of terrorism answered by military attacks on the terrorists. We know this story well. -Afghanistan is the perfect example.

-That is the main theme I got from reading Stephen Marche’s new book, The Next Civil War: Dispatches from the American Future.

The book was excellent, although it didn’t provide me very many new facts. Since it was entertaining, I read it in one sitting.

Even more than before I read it, I am convinced blue America must initiate vigorous planning for peaceful disunion, before a standoff between red America and the current federal government develops and becomes the driver of events, as described in The Next Civil War: Dispatches from the American Future .
